About Me
With over 15 years of experience in accounting and financial leadership, I am dedicated to helping individuals and small businesses achieve financial clarity, stability, and peace of mind. My work combines technical expertise with a genuine understanding of the real-life challenges people face when managing their finances.
I began my career in the mortgage industry after earning a degree in Management and Economics from Sam Houston State University. Early on, I witnessed the strain many hardworking individuals carried while trying to balance demanding work schedules with financial uncertainty—especially during the 2008 financial crisis. Those experiences inspired me to pursue a deeper role in helping others build stronger financial foundations, leading me to earn a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Colorado State University.
Over the next decade, I advanced within a global corporate environment from Staff Accountant to Corporate Controller, overseeing full-cycle accounting operations, ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and leading Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance initiatives. These roles strengthened my ability to provide accurate, ethical, and dependable financial oversight while maintaining a people-centered approach to financial leadership.
Today, I specialize in tax planning and preparation, monthly bookkeeping, financial record reconciliation, and ongoing financial guidance for individuals, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. My approach is grounded in integrity, attention to detail, and genuine care for those I serve.
